I have decided to Tithe 100% of the proceeds of this Book, and have partnered with the organization “Half A Million Kids”, a 501c3 charity who is actively making a difference for the over 500,000 kids that are in the Foster Care System in the United States. Many of these kids remain in the system and never find families or eventually age out of the system and become homeless and poor. My commitment is to donate all of the proceeds from this book in hopes of making a small difference for those Foster kids and adults who have been forced to deal with the unfortunate circumstances that life has dealt them. The Bible refers to Foster Kids as “The Fatherless” and group them with “the Widows”. They are people who have no families or relatives to count on for love and support during their lives and GOD wants us to take care of them. He wants us to not forget them and include them during our community celebrations and holidays. We are to invite them into our lives and through taking care of them, GOD promises to bless us.
I have included relevant scriptures below that inspire me and hopefully inspire you to make a difference and give back to these Kids and GOD’s Kingdom.
Thank you for your support.

Let’s Get Them Home for Good!

Deuteronomy 14:22-29 (KJV) “Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always. And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee: Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.”

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
We hope to return foster care back to its original purpose: a short-term safety net for kids awaiting reunification with their birth/legal families.
Half a Million Kids is a 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to place every child eligible for adoption into a permanent, loving home.

2 Corinthians 9:6-15
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”

Foster children live in group homes or are shuffled home-to-home
Many move 10 or more times by age 12
Approx. 120,000 of these children are eligible for adoption, meaning the courts have terminated the parental rights
These kids are never going home. At 18, they will age out of the system
Our mission is to place every child eligible for adoption into a permanent, loving home. We will:
- Create mass awareness
- Bring this topic into our national dialogue
- Engage and mobilize the community
- Recruit more than enough loving families for every single child who is available for adoption

WHAT IF…YOU could be a part of eradicating something BIG?
WHAT IF…HALF A MILLION kids in The US could grow up in an incredible family instead of in a government system?
WHAT IF…there ARE enough families for all these kids?
WHAT IF…change was actually possible and you could be a part of creating a whole new way, a whole new life, a fresh start for these kids?
WHAT IF…you realized there are ways, big and small, for everyone to be involved in making this a reality for these kids?
WHAT IF…your role were as easy as making sure every single person you know is aware of this opportunity and they were inspired to share it with every single person they know? What if that was enough to eradicate the current problem?
WHAT IF… we began with every single person in The Philadelphia Region knowing there are 1600 kids in Philly and the surrounding suburbs who need to be a part of a family and we, together, guided by a cohesive clear plan, found permanent loving homes for all 1600 kids and our success together served as a national model for every community in The US to accomplish the same thing?
WHAT IF…There is a Team of people committed to Documenting the process for how we did this, together, to serve as a “How to Guide” for any community to take on.
WHAT IF…after hearing from you, seeing it in the press, seeing The Documentary Film, hearing The Anthem, seeing The Recruitment Campaign, people were inspired and motivated to take this on in their community and there was a Pilot Program that had succeeded in Philadelphia and the suburbs that serves as The National Model for how to handle this in any city or community?
WHAT IF…people who decided to tackle this in their city could easily get their hands on “The How to Guide”?
WHAT IF…this was happening in every city in The US?
WHAT IF…all this came true? What then would be possible?
WHAT IF…it really is possible to transform the lives of these kids, forever?
Acts 4:31-37
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
